Missions President Chris Kelley of Old Town, Maine (at right cutting cable) was led to return to Guatemala to build either a church or parsonage (pastor’s home). After consulting with the Nazarene Work & Witness website he was led to construct a parsonage in a small village outside of the city of Tactíc in north-central Guatemala.

The local church was responsible for raising the concrete block walls and electrical preparation. The visiting team assists with the installation of the roof trusses, purlings, and sheetmetal roofing, as well as wiring the building.

The church sets in a farming community called Pansiníc.

Here you can see the first floor is already equipped with a set of stairs to the future parsonage.

In the photo is the Work & Witness coordinator Roger Kellogg, the local pastor, and board members.

Pansiníc is a caserío (very small village) and is part of the municipality of Tactíc.

The entire team came from the States of Maine and Washington. Here are the members from Maine, two pastors and twelve hard working folk from a total of five different churches.

This dear couple joined the Maine team from Washington State. Hard working, Spanish speaking, and good looking, well, we must add brilliantly humorous, too. A total of sixteen team members dedicated to loving, caring, and serving a long way from home.
